Originally from Bristol, Tennessee, Cameron came to Knoxville to attend the University of Tennessee in 1996. While earning a Bachelor’s in Political Science & Sociology, Cameron fell in love with Knoxville’s community, kind and compassionate people, and spirit of generosity. Always a person with a strong sense of community, Cameron couldn’t ignore the grave injustices occurring at UT and gave his time and efforts to help remedy the problem. Cameron became a student leader in the UT Living Wage Campaign.
