lavery ended in 1865, except in Tennessee, where it remains on the books today. Thankfully, we can end it with Amendment 3. It allows us to finally strike down that abhorrent practice that should have ended nearly 160 years ago. It will finally remove the ability for slavery to exist in Tennessee, which is allowed so long as the individual is incarcerated. There should be no exceptions to slavery. It should not exist, nor should it have ever existed, but this is our chance to finally move on from the evil practice.
Move our state forward and eliminate one of the most evil practices the US has embraced by voting YES on Amendment 3.
