How TO Become A Voter

Checking your registration is important! Voters can sometimes be removed from the rolls if they have not voted in some time. Registering to vote in Tennessee is easy and only takes about 5 minutes. You can register to vote online at https://ovr.govote.tn.gov/

When it comes to voting you need to know where you can vote. Early voting allows you the most flexibility as you can vote at any early voting precinct in your county. If you wait until election day to vote you will have to vote at your designated voting precinct. In order to vote in the state of TN you will need a valid state issued ID. Typically most voters bring their drivers license. If you are a college student it is important to note that your school ID will NOT count.
