Torrey is a Progressive Democrat who will continue to campaign and work in the community alongside those who are fighting to have a voice through protest, who are hurting because they cannot afford health insurance, who are looked at differently as a high school student looking to play a sport with people they identify with. Torrey is one of the first two openly-LGBT state representatives elected in Tennessee.
